About Us:

Il-Veduta is situated just outside the fortifications of Malta’s old capital Mdina, the restaurant has become a household name amongst families looking for the perfect lunch or dinner venue.  Il-Veduta Restaurant is a very well-established restaurant which has been in operation for 30 years and due to a continuous increase in demand we are looking at expanding the team to continue driving the business forward.

Job Summary:

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. In addition to upholding the highest levels of service and fostering a warm and inviting environment for our visitors, your responsibilities will include directing our staff. Your leadership and organizational skills will be essential in driving the success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support restaurant staff mainly servers by being hands-on, especially waiting at tables and seating customers.
• The role is also a customer-facing one.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.
• Responsible for the opening and end of day cash reports.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
