Reports To: Restaurant Managerย / Asst Restaurant Manager / F&B Supervisors
Overall Purpose of Position:
To provide a personal welcome to all guests and provide a good level of service while adhering to pre-established standards of service in our restaurant and/or events.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve clients promptly and efficiently.
- Assist clients in their choice of Food & Beverage as when required.
- Solve clients problems promptly while referring to superiors depending on depth or problem / issue.
- Ensure that high standards of hygiene, service and quality of produce are delivered at all times.
- Ensure high quality standards are kept and optimum customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Be polite, courteous and professional at all times even in case of problematic solutions.
- Ensure that the restaurant is kept clean at all times and is comfortable for the restaurant guests.
- Ensure mise-en-place is in order bar & restaurant.
- Ensure the workplace / bar is left clean at all times.
- Replenish bar / restaurantย supplies accordingly.
- Secure handling of POS Cash system.
- Drawing up bills accurately.
- Safe handling of all technical equipment.
- Ensure up selling of Food & Beverage items on current menus.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained. And report any breakages or any equipment out of order.
- Follow the roster established by the Restaurant Manager.
- Report to work well groomed and in full uniform at all times and to ensure that the uniform is well kept and clean.
- Use the palm reader at the beginning and the end of each shift.
- Follow company and department Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
